Lisa Runquist

Lisa is one of the most unique and … odd … people one might have the opportunity to get to know.   She is addicted to chocolate and ice cream, and has never met a book she didn’t like.  She does not suffer fools gladly, but is happy to teach anyone who wishes to learn what she knows.

After having practiced law for some 45 years, Lisa decided that the time has come (the walrus said) to concentrate her professional activities on advising other attorneys, by writing and speaking on nonprofit matters, consulting with attorneys when asked – especially related to governance issues, and serving as an expert witness in cases involving nonprofit organizations.  The rest of her time is spent training and competing with her dogs, playing her French horn, learning Hebrew, and analyzing the scriptures and Kabbalistic writings.  She figures by the time she is 578 years old, she will have been able to read all the books she has accumulated – providing she does not continue the practice of purchasing several new books each week.
